WELCOME TO DOT ORG!
DOT ORG is a webring that was developed in hopes of linking together stylish personal domains that share the dot org (.org) extension. To that end, the DOT ORG domain ring will send you on a journey through some lovely personal websites housed on non-commercial .org domains. I check codes whenever possible to offer you, the avid domain surfer, the ability to navigate the ring with ease and minimal interruptions.
This ring was launched way back in the year 2000. Ten + years and still alive! Though I didn't start it, I've been running it since... wow! a very, very long time! (I took over as ringmistress in 2001, to be precise.) I'd like to thank everyone involved in the creation, maintenance of, and participation in the ring :)

Recent changes to RingSurf just gave me a good shove. Towards what, you ask? I've wanted to move the DOT ORG webring to a PHP script on my own server for some time. But that would mean existing members would have to change their codes, so I was a bit hesitant to do so.
However, the new version of RingSurf — lauched at the beginning of April 2008 — does not operate like a traditional webring, and therefore I do not like it. That totally sealed the deal: I'm happy to announce DOT ORG will now be powered by Alis Dee's vs.hive, a PHP/MySQL script.
